About Our Royal Tea Blend

To commemorate the coronation of King Charles III, we bring you this Royal Tea Blend of celebratory flavours. A delicately refreshing tea crafted with lightly roasted Oolong tea from the Fujian region of China and champagne-like platinum tips from Sri Lanka carefully blended with a hint of rose and berries. The inviting floral and fruity aroma along with sweet honey undertones make for a smooth and memorable tea ideal for enjoying anytime of the day.

Food Pairings

The perfect companion for an afternoon tea, the notes of light silver needles can be deliciously paired with the flavours of citrus fruit, soft cheeses and seafood, whilst the darker notes of oolong can handle heavier dishes such as spiced breads, caramels and dark chocolate.

Whether you prefer the more traditional items of high tea such as light scones and delicate finger sandwiches, or a more modern decadent affair of exotic spiced savouries and rich dark chocolate pastries, this perfectly balanced brew will compliment any royal spread.

Alternatives to this Oolong loose leaf tea

If you are looking for another option to accompany your afternoon tea, our Phoenix Honey Orchid offers a floral, honey-like natural sweetness but also mildly smokey notes. A premium and complex Chinese authentic oolong from the Guangdong mountains, beloved by connoisseurs and enjoyed any time of day.

If you are looking for an alternative that captures the delicate notes of white tea, our Jasmine Silver Needle white tea is infused with the essential oils of jasmine flowers for a beautifully floral brew.

Sitting somewhere between green and black teas, oolong teas range from dark, rich and creamy to golden, sweet and honeyed. Explore our full oolong collection to uncover the delights of this high quality and incredibly diverse tea type.

Region

Mixed Origin

Our tea blends are a harmonious tapestry of flavours, meticulously crafted from premium ingredients sourced from the world's most esteemed regions. We travel to the lush valleys of Assam, the serene West Lake in China, the rich floral gardens of Croatia, and beyond, to ensure that each herb, spice, and flower meets our exacting standards. Every ingredient tells a story, reflecting the essence of its origin, and we take pride in capturing these unique profiles in every blend.

Our commitment extends beyond quality; we are dedicated to sustainability and ethical sourcing. We work closely with farmers and growers to ensure that every step of our journey respects both the environment and the communities we engage with. By prioritising responsible sourcing, we ensure that our blends not only deliver outstanding taste but also contribute positively to the world. With each cup, you experience not only the finest ingredients but also the dedication and care that have gone into creating them, making our blends a celebration of both flavour and the spirit of sustainability.
