Why Chai
Some marinades and sauces often use coffee or espresso to infuse extra flavour, so we thought what better than our authentic, rich and warming Masala Chai to pack a punch to your summer bbq sauce.
This Great Taste award-winning loose leaf tea balances bold Assam leaves with traditionally grown Indian spices, including ginger, cinnamon, green cardamom and cloves, that bring a distinct flavour profile to dishes. The warm spices accompanied by the sweet and spicy chai are a perfect balance for topping burgers, grilled fish and more.
For a sweeter and fruiter flavour, Chai of Madagascar imparts a sweeter spicy aroma, with notes of orange with cacao and vanilla pieces.
