The Tea Makers of London

Organic Tea

Many of us are familiar with the benefits of organic products, and organic teas are no different. Grown sustainably and produced without chemicals, our organic loose-leaf teas provide a luxurious drinking experience as well as peace of mind. Shop our range of Organic teas to ensure that each cup you brew offers pure, unadulterated flavour that’s free of pesticides and additives.

Our Organic Teas

We source organic certified teas and infusions, and we are certified by the Soil Association to store, pack and distribute organic-certified teas, undertaking yearly audits to validate our processes. Our organic teas (LINK) carry the Soil Association Organic logo.

The best teas come from gardens that work with nature and support biodiversity, limiting the use of agrochemicals and protecting local communities by following sustainable practices. Organic certifications are a fantastic guide for consumers and a guarantee that products are made in an environmentally responsible way.

Our Commitment to Sustainability

At The Tea Makers of London, we aim to providing our customers with a selection of organic teas, as part of our company's commitment to sustainability and the environment.  You can easily see if our tea is organic by checking the packet for the official organic certification mark of the Soil Association.

Supporting Smaller Producers

Ensuring that we source our teas in a traceable and direct manner is central to everything we do. We build and foster relationships with many smaller tea gardens and family-owned farms, some of whom we have worked with since the beginning.

For many of these smaller plantations pursuing an organic certification is not realistic due to the lengthy administrative processes involved and financial burdens it places on the farm. We prioritise plantations that use traditional farming methods and take care to minimise their environmental impact.

We will continue to work with and support these small-scale producers with the challenges they face and keep them at the core of everything we do.
