What is Castle Farm

If you like the outdoors and all things nature, we recommend a visit with family or friends to the famous Castle Farm this June 2023.  The stunning Lavender Farm based in Sevenoaks; Kent and is a fourth-generation family farm in Kent. Castle farm started growing 20 years ago and they are the largest Lavender Farm in the UK and harvest an impressive 100 acres of vibrant purple lavender every year. If you were to line up all the Lavender hedges, they would run all the way around the M25... which is Over 115miles of Lavender.

25,000 bunches of Lavender are cut every year, where they are then sent out fresh or dried, then the remainder is harvested and distilled on site to make beautiful, fragrant Lavender oil on site.

It’s a unique day out that’s suitable for all the family, with a range of picnics and things to see, as well as their farm and gift shop, grazing cattle and of course, it’s picture perfect for that Instagrammable shot.
