About Our Organic Teas

At The Tea Makers of London, we are committed to providing our customers with a variety of organic loose-leaf teas, each with their own unique mix of health benefits and sensory experiences. You can easily see if our tea is organic by checking the packet for the official organic certification mark of the Soil Association. Our range currently includes organic black tea, organic green teas and organic herbal tea.

Is Organic Tea Good For You?

In a word, yes. While we’re working hard to ensure our growers are producing teas with sustainability in mind, when you buy one or our organic teas, you can rest assured that it comes with absolutely no pesticides, additives or any other chemicals. Organically produced teas are also better for the environment. As well as preventing pollution caused by nitrogen-based fertilisers, according to the Soil Association organic farms use less energy and generally have lower emissions than non-organic farms. The organisation also estimates that organically farmed soils are approximately 25% more effective at storing carbon than those of non-organic farms.
